New Rule

From now on, no one is allowed to be buried alive, or stand guard over a box, or any other damned thing for two thousand years, unless the writer is prepared to subsequently write that character in some way that indicates that such an experience had some sort of effect on the character.

05x07 reaction post

So, I seem to have forgotten to react to the last three weeks.

It's been a while, so I will just sum up:

    River Song is the Rani.
    Rory is win.

And now, for this week, as always, in no particular order:

Spoilers, obvs )

In conclusion... I shall continue to withhold judgement.

Soo... Eleven, eh?

My thoughts re: The Eleventh Hour.

Disclaimer: I don't like Moffat, and don't think he writes drama well. I think he writes women even more poorly. And I think he is far, far too in love with his own cleverness, and that his writing is shallow, if witty. So I may be biased, but I am doing my best to watch this series fairly. Lord knows if I'm succeeding; the fact that the rest of the internet loved this episode so much seems to say: no. On the other hand, the internet often dislikes what I like, so maybe I'm just contrarian? Hard to say.
